Description
The early break contact is a double-break auxiliary contact that signals the position of the rotary handle in Compact NSX 100-630 and PowerPact Multistandard H/J/L circuit breakers. This contact, in conjunction with a rotary handle and an early make contact (CAM), can anticipate device closure. The auxiliary contact, a 2-pole changeover type, has one normally open and one normally closed contact. Rated at 6A and requiring a minimum load of 100mA at 24VDC, it’s suitable for AC12/AC15/DC12/DC14 utilization categories. Compact NSX and PowerPact chassis can accommodate one early break contact. The device adheres to IEC 60947-5-1 standards.
