Description
The early break contact is a single-pole auxiliary contact that signals the position of the rotary handle in Compact NSX 100/160/250 and PowerPact Multistandard H/J circuit breakers. This contact, in conjunction with a rotary handle and an early make contact (CAM), can anticipate device opening. The auxiliary contact is a changeover type with one normally open and one normally closed contact. Rated at 6A and requiring a minimum load of 100mA at 24VDC, it’s suitable for AC12/AC15/DC12/DC14 utilization categories. Compact NSX and PowerPact chassis can accommodate one early break contact. The device adheres to IEC 60947-5-1 standards.
